Background: Born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He graduated with a degree in Exercise Science from the South Carolina Honors College and then matriculated at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
